Phila Moya: Private Practice
Phila Moya (pronounced Pee-la Mooi-ya) is Zulu for the Spirit Lives. Phila Moya compromises of a consulting arm, a therapeutic practice arm and an outreach component. The ethos underpinning all 3 these components is that of resilience, but that at times we need someone or something to come alongside us in order to strengthen that resilience.

Areas of Interest:
Alexa Russell’s particular interests are children and families as well as women’s issues. Alexa holds a Masters in Social Work (Play Therapy) and has much experience in cross cultural settings. As is required by law in order to practice, Alexa is registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professionals (SACSSP), the South African Social Workers in Private Practice (SASWIPP) and the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF).
